Yep, It's GOLD!
I am just so enamored with the color of this machine. It's a gold metallic finish, and I just love it. This Morse sewing machine is a badged, HA-1 type 15 "Clone", made in Japan. I have an in depth review about these types of machines, "It Looks Just Like an Old Singer.. Sort of...

Here you can see the "M's" that are integrated into the black and silver decals design that goes around the bed of the machine. I think it looks great with the gold. The chrome knob regulates the feed dog drop mechanism.
The only "issue" that I had with this machine other than the typical gunk, was with the motor brushes not moving freely within the brush holders. When I serviced the motor, I cleaned the brushes and the holders as well as the armature, and took just s smidge (yep that is the technical tern) off of the edges of the brushes. Once that was done, along with installing a new belt and bobbin winder tire- this machine was soooo happy!

I have a 403a singer and it works great and I have all the cams. the only problems is I can not get it to zig zag.. the cams are in probably i've oiled it all... and i so need to zig and zag.. can you help?
I got a singer 15 clone. The electric part is not working, I mean it does get temperamental. I am afraid it needs a change of pedals and cables, motor was working. Pedal heats up, and connector to motor is very loose. Which repair parts in you website will suit one of this clones? thanks!
Any of the 2 wire controllers on the site will work with the HA-1 "clones". I also have cord sets. The most common cord set found on these machines is the block style, http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/Cord-Set-Block-Style-700-143-SCE143.htm
